The general principle of installation of FRP storage tanks is that construction personnel should take reasonable and correct measures to ensure the safe and stable operation of the storage tanks. 1. The installation foundation must be firm and reliable, and can bear the total weight of the storage tank, the medium contained in the tank and other related auxiliary equipment; 2 Installation of FRP storage tanks 2.1 horizontal storage tank: saddle bearings are adopted for its support, and it is required that the bearings are in close contact with the outer wall of the storage tank. First, place the bearing on the foundation according to the designed supporting position, and correct and level it. The contact surface between the support and the tank body is padded with a rubber pad to place the storage tank 2.2 Vertical storage tank with round bottom: before installation, the foundation is flat, and the storage tank is placed properly to ensure that the storage tank is vertical and each steel foot is leveled to ensure that each foot is fully stressed; 2.3 Flat-bottom vertical storage tank: A loose layer of fine sand (thickness greater than 100mm) shall be laid on the foundation to ensure full contact between the tank bottom and the foundation. 3. Watertightness test and flushing of the storage tank: After other installation items and stabilization measures have passed the inspection, the watertightness test of the storage tank system shall be conducted to check the strength and tightness of the storage tank system and verify the installation quality of the project. 3.1 Test organization: The construction unit and the construction unit shall jointly organize and participate in the test of the storage tank system. Relevant personnel of both parties shall form a working organization, which shall be specifically responsible for formulating the test plan, organizing and implementing the test of the storage tank, confirming and evaluating the test data and results, and issuing and signing the test report. 3.2 The test type is generally hydrostatic test, which is used for the strength and tightness test of storage tanks. 3.3 Preparation before test: 3.3.1 Carefully check whether the connection and installation of storage tanks are completed according to the requirements of design and "Installation Rules"; 3.3.2 All kinds of ancillary facilities, such as support and anchorage, are set up as required and meet the design requirements. 3.3.3 Close all openings on the test tank with blind plates (except for pressure balance holes), including isolating the equipment that cannot participate in the test, such as water pumps and branch pipes, and removing the safety valves and bursting plates; 3.3.4 Check the power supply, water supply connection and drainage route; 3.4 Test Steps: 3.4.1 Ensure that the pressure balance hole is unblocked at any time, so as to facilitate the water injection in the tank to drain the air in the tank, and avoid the negative pressure in the drainage tank from damaging the storage tank; 3.4.2 slowly inject water into the tank through the water injection port; 3.4.3 Let stand when the tank is filled with water, and check that the joint and tank are free of damage and leakage, which is qualified; 3.5 tank flushing 3.5.1 The flushing water should be pure water with turbidity below 7NTU, and the flow rate of flushing water should be greater than 1.0m/s; 3.5.2 Drinking water storage tanks should be filled with clean water with free chlorine content of 20-30mg/g for disinfection before use, and chlorine-containing water should be left standing in the storage tanks for more than 24 hours. After disinfection, rinse with drinking water. The tank can be put into formal use only after passing the test and trial operation. 4. Connection between storage tank and other accessories 4.1 The connection between the storage tank and other accessories shall be flanged; 4.2 Connection process and requirements; 4.2.1 Before installation and connection, check whether the flange sealing surface is smooth, whether there are convex attachments, longitudinal grooves and other defects that affect the sealing effect, and if so, immediately deal with them accordingly; 4.2.2 The flange gasket should be made of rubber material, and the thickness is generally 3-5 mm; 4.2.3 When connecting, the sealing surfaces of the two flanges should be kept parallel, and the contact surface between the nut and the flange should be kept flat; 4.2.4 Bolts shall be tightened one by one according to the principle of symmetry. The pre-tightening force shall be determined by the design unit or the manufacturer. The final tightening of bolts shall be tightened with a torque wrench. 7.3 Rubber pads used for sealing shall have corrosion resistance to conveying medium; 4.4 When installing and connecting, thermal expansion and thermal stress caused by temperature change should be considered, and whether to install expansion joints should be determined by design; 4.5 Elastic connection shall be adopted at the joint between FRP storage tank and vibration equipment to avoid damage to FRP storage tank caused by long-term vibration; 4.6 Steel valves and other heavy fittings installed on storage tanks shall be independently supported; 5. Repair of accidental damage of FRP storage tank: 5.1 When the storage tank is damaged less, the installer can determine the repair plan according to the product manual or repair process manual. 5.2 If the storage tank is seriously damaged and the installer cannot repair it, he shall consult the manufacturer and jointly determine the repair plan. 5.3 When repairing the storage tank with FRP adhesive material, the site should be well ventilated, no fireworks and equipped with fire fighting equipment; 5.4 Adhesive materials should be used as they are opened, and non-operators are strictly forbidden to use them. 5.5 When bonding, the operator should stand upwind and wear protective equipment according to the requirements of labor insurance; 5.6 During construction in winter and rainy season, cold, antifreeze and rainproof measures should be adopted; 6. Precautions for the use of FRP storage tanks 6.1 During the use of FRP storage tanks, it is absolutely necessary to avoid the blockage of pressure balance holes, and avoid the formation of vacuum or negative pressure in the tanks to damage the storage tanks; 6.2 FRP products are not allowed to approach the fire source and are equipped with fire fighting equipment; 6.3 It is not allowed to open holes and add interfaces on the storage tank at will. If it is necessary to open holes and add interfaces, the manufacturer's consent must be obtained to avoid damaging the integrity, tightness and corrosion resistance of the storage tank; 6.4 Do not arbitrarily add auxiliary equipment on the storage tank to avoid damage to the storage tank beyond its bearing capacity. 6.5 Avoid heavy objects impacting and damaging the storage tank; 6.6 When changing the containing medium, the anti-corrosion performance of the storage tank shall meet the requirements of the changed medium; 6.7 The storage tank cannot be used in spite of illness. Once suspicious problems are found, it can only be used after troubleshooting, so as to avoid unnecessary losses caused by accidental leakage of medium;
